Arashi and their Zodiac Signs 嵐の星占い

Since my last post. I just kept thinking about their zodiac signs. I know it doesnt give away much. You know, i will check that book I saw in power books and i'll check their birthdays to see what is written about them. That book was heck accurate. Okay... so let's see..

*I put in bold the important and interesting points there are!!! :D those usually that match :D

Sakurai Sho - Aquarius

aquarians are interesting and attractive people. They can be shy, sensitive, gentle and patient; or enthusiastic and lively with a tendency to be exhibitionists. Both types are strong willed and forceful in their own way. Very opinionated with strong convictions, they fight for what they believe in. They will argue vehemently for what they believe to be true, however, if you can show them facts to the contrary, they have little trouble altering their opinion.

these are farsighted people with an eye and ear to the new and innovative. They are generally without prejudice and quite tolerant of the point of view of others. They have an interesting side to their nature that allows them to see a valid argument even when they disagree with it. They are quite objective folk and never get waylaid by being too close to an issue or person. 

Regardless of type, Aquarius is truly a humane, human being. Known to be frank and outspoken, a 'on my mind, on my mouth' type, Aquarius makes for a serious and genial companion. Refined and idealistic, romantic but practical, they are personable and likable people. Quick in mind and quick to respond, Aquarians love activity and are quite reasonable, though difficult to get close to. They cherish and guard their independence, and are a strange mixture of caring concern and cool detachment. They will go out of their way to help when needed, but never get involved emotionally.

Aquarians are usually intelligent, cool, clear, logical people. They have good imaginations and are quite intuitive. Aquarius is drawn to and inspired by great causes. In the midst of such a crusade they can be so completely devoted, that they drive themselves to the edge of complete exhaustion. This trait can be disheartening to those near and dear, for they get caught up with a cause in a way they never would with another person.

Whether the retiring or the outgoing Aquarian, both types appreciate opportunities to be alone. To Aquarians, being alone has nothing to do with being lonely. They enjoy their own company and are recharged by this quiet time. Rarely content being followers, they are more often society's trend setters. They do not take kindly to interference by others, even if it is well intended. Most Aquarians appreciate beauty and balance, possessing an excellent sense of aesthetics. This is often expressed by interests that can span drama, music, art (*homg check my last post involving Sho ahahahaah!) and science.

Aquarians are an enigma. On one hand they are warm, kind, and outgoing, the sort to make friends easily and willingly. On the other hand, they are quite aloof people, who do not actively seek out relationships, and resent any infringement on their time or resources. They are engaging, yet unreachable. They can be fascinating and dynamic, while lacking any real warmth or endearing qualities.

Aquarians work best in group projects, but must be recognized as having a leading role (*Ohno himself said in Hanamaru Cafe that Sho was the real leader of Arashi) They are akin to nature, and are seekers after knowledge and truth. They make excellent researchers and admirable scientists, especially astronomers and natural historians. They may lead the field in photography, computer technology. Radiography, electronics or anything connected with the electronic communication industries. Aviation is also a natural vocation for Aquarians, as it was for Charles Lindbergh.

In the arts and humanities, their progressive talents are expressed well in writing, particularly poetry, and in broadcasting (*remember that Sho is usually the writer of Arashi's songs and he's currently a broadcaster). In the theater, they make good character actors, and are natural mimics. Possessing an affinity for rhythm and timing, many Aquarians make fine and progressive musicians. In the service fields, they can be effective welfare workers or educators. In any endeavor, an Aquarian will always be found on the cutting edge of whatever career they choose. These are the trend setters of the zodiac, capable of seeing what is coming long before their contemporaries.

Ninomiya Kazunari - Gemini

In Gemini we move from the action, reaction response of Aries, Taurus to the interaction response. The Gemini nature Interacts with the environment, investigating, learning, knowing and exchanging ideas. The intellect dominates Gemini, (*HOMG Nino got a 26/100 in one of his math test before XD).  and all things intellectual are valued greatly. As communication is also of importance to Geminis, knowledge is never a thing to be hoarded. Seldom is a twin more entertained than in the midst of exchanging ideas with others of an intellectual nature.

Being the most versatile and changeable of the signs, Geminis are seldom what they seem to be. Chameleon like, they will take a stand, voice an opinion, decide on an option then completely change their mind tomorrow. Nothing is ever written in stone by Gemini. They are truly a free soul, driven by curiosity and a desire to know and do. They usually have several things going at once, and within such chaos, they thrive (*But Nino get's sick when he's doing so much @_X).

Geminis are bright, witty, entertaining and rarely get deeply absorbed in any one task. There are just too many things to do and know, and so many new people to meet. They prefer to skim the surface of many things, then to get deeply involved in one interest. If they do become drawn into something, they always feel they are missing out. It will always be what they aren't doing, or don't have, or the people they haven't met that intrigue them the most.

Geminis are optimistic people. All things are fresh and fascinating for the twins, it's the way they like it to be. They often possess the enthusiasm of a child. Routine is boring, and boring is not allowed. Restless, with an active imagination and a keen intellect, life must be lived to the fullest for Gemini. Perceived as a game (*HOMG. otaku~) life is best played with swift moves and entertaining teammates. With the zeal of a sportsman, Gemini analyzes everything. They often possess a compulsive need to know the why of all they experience. A twin wants to know the causes, motivations, and dynamics behind everything and everyone they encounter.

Geminis are expressive folk, and this may manifest beyond mere speech. Often gifted with their hands, it seems whatever they touch does turn to gold (@_X). Their love of communication (*had he taken university, Nino wanted to study direction and production) may also express itself as an affinity for languages, which they tend to pick up quite easily. Known for being great story tellers, Geminis have a knack of making life a little more interesting for the rest of us.

Morality is not an issue, and values are situational. Gemini's are usually affectionate, courteous, kind, generous, thoughtful, and superficial. They are attractive and interesting people who instinctively know how to meet their own needs and will do whatever it takes to do so. Although self interest is always the primary motivator in a Gemini person, they are also known to be honest, straightforward and without guile (*that's for sure). They are what they are, and usually have no problem admitting their failings. Whatever they choose as a course of action is done out in the open without a measure of deviousness.\

Other Gemini traits include: adaptability, ingenuity and cleverness. They are a mental sign and therefore logical, even brilliant at times, possessing a great deal of charm. However, it is important to remember that the symbol for this sign is twins, and that not all twins are alike. There are broad distinctions within the Gemini character. In contrast to the shining one described above is the shadow twin. On the turn of a moment, Gemini can become cynical, biting, moody and quickly angered. Inseparable as two sides of a coin, those born in this sign can be dazzling and irresistible or inconstant and irrational.

Geminis probably make better friends than they do lovers. They are entertaining companions and are more intrigued by the idea of love than the actual day to day involvement. Remember, what intrigues a Gemini is the unknown. Once something is familiar as an old pair of socks, the interest wears thin and the need for new worlds to investigate grows strong again. Geminis are fickle. This is not intentional, it is their basic nature to be so. Life seems too short a span to get very serious about anything for a Gemini. So, in love as in life, intensity of feeling is always fleeting. It is, while it is!

Physically, Geminis have a youthful demeanor, sometimes childlike. Gemini rules the arms, shoulders, hands, lungs and nervous system. They generally have a sensitive nervous system, and don't fare well under too much stress (*AND there it is. This explains his weakness when doing too many concerts). As Gemini considers danger about as seriously as they consider the rest of life, there is a need to restrain a sense of heroic invincibility.

Matsumoto Jun - Virgo

The Virgo character is precise, refined, and a lover of cleanliness, hygiene and order. Conventional, with a rather reserved manner. They are usually observant, shrewd, critical, and patient. Supporters of the 'status quo', and conservative in all areas of life. Virgos are undemonstrative due to a coolness in their nature. Very selective, and non committal in friendship, they prefer to keep relationships on a superficial basis.

Quietly reserved, Virgos are polite and soft spoken people. Unassuming, outwardly cheerful and agreeable, they can be sensible, discreet, wise and witty, with an understanding of other people's problems which they tackle with deftness. Virgos find their friends among those who can help them move up the social strata (*OMG Jun you USER! hahaha!).  They can be name droppers as they like to associate with achievers.

Both sexes have considerable charm and dignity, which make some male Virgoans appear effeminate when they are not. In marriage they can be genuinely affectionate (*whoever will marry Jun is hella LUCKY LUCKY GIRL hahahaha!!! XD *coughmaocough*)  and make good partners and parents. More concerned with the outcome than the process, Virgos lack spontaneity. They are meticulous planners, considering every detail and its effect (*Ohno himself said that Jun plans almost everything in their concerts: from stage, to lights, constumes, hair, etc.) There is seldom much room for emotional involvement because the mind is always engaged and dominant. What they lack in passion they make up for in preciseness.

They are practical, mental people, possessing inquiring and logical minds. In this respect, they make excellent students, and good teachers. Their mental bend gives them the ability to analyze and solve the most complicated problems. Virgos have a wonderful eye for detail (*Jun is gay) and often neglect the overall issues. Practical and good with their hands, they are excellent technicians and have good inventive talents. Hard workers and conscientious, they are perfectionists with little tolerance for shoddy work. There is no place in their world for people who are footloose and fancy free.

Due to the Virgo preference for detail rather than the big picture, they make better workers (*fact: Jun is a workaholic) than they do leaders. Virgoans are essentially tacticians, admirable in the attainment of limited objectives. They have a basic distrust in their nature, not only of other people but themselves as well. They project this mistrust to others and therefore make exacting employers. Although, they will never ask anyone to do what they won't do, it is still asking a lot, because most people will not go to the pains a Virgo will.

virgos possess a strong potential for the arts, sciences and language. They are well suited for any career where analysis, detail and precision are required. They make excellent programmers, accountants, and statisticians (*haha. sure). Many go into medicine, law, and the teaching profession. With an avid interest in history, some Virgos make excellent writers and researchers.

On the shadow side, Virgos have a penchant for turning molehills into mountains, difficulties into stress and cleanliness into obsessive behavior. There is a need to pay attention to health concerns, particularly those related to overt stress (*aside from Nino, Jun is known to be sickly during to many concerts as well). Virgos are predisposed to worry and hypochondria, even to the point of exhibiting symptoms of the latest diseases. It can be beneficial to take up a pastime which occupies the mind and the hands, while providing a sense of accomplishment. A Virgo finds peace where his or her physical mark can be measured on Earth.

Ohno Satoshi - Sagittarius

Sagittarians are positive people; they have a bright outlook on life, are enterprising, full of energy and vitality. Versatile, adventurous and eager to expand their range beyond the comfortable and familiar. They enjoy travel and exploring, and their minds are continually searching for new experiences. They are ambitious, optimistic folk, and nothing seems to get them down. They are idealists, and this seems to keep them going even when life disappointments crop up and smash their plans. "To keep on, keepin' on" is a Sagittarian way of life. They have a tendency to get over zealous when they are interested in something. They are believers, and what they believe in, they are willing to fight for. They are both loyal and independent at the same time. They manage to balance both traits.

Sagittarians are usually modest (*this is true! they hardly talk of themselves. usually it is Nino and Jun who are boastful ahahha) and often spiritual, with strong values. They like rituals, and sometimes can get caught up in form, rather than substance. They are profound thinkers, and are gifted with foresight and good judgment. Witty conversationalists and story tellers, they do have the gift of gab. They are avid learners, love to initiate new projects and make great researchers. They are quick studies, with keen minds. They have an expectant attitude and a penchant for new experiences, which may account for the fact that Sagittarians are noted for their longevity (*THEREFORE, Ohno will be in Arashi the longest hahah and will look the youngest in the longrun hahaha) They are often intuitive and original thinkers. Better at adapting than inventing, they work well in collaboration with others. A strong-will and good organization ability combined with their other talents usually bring any project they undertake to a successful conclusion. They are generous by nature, but are quite resourceful in caring for and balancing their resources.

Sagittarians are ardent, sincere and straightforward in relationships. They are generally conventional and in control of their sexual natures. Because of their independent nature, maintaining a close personal relationship is difficult (*I take this as a challenge!!!!) They prefer a solid home base, but as a place to return to when they have completed a particular travel venture. They have a compelling need to feel free, and sometimes make this choice at the expense of a 9 to 5 career, or even a family (*this is why i think Ohno will be the last one to get married).

Aiba Masaki - Capricorn

The Capricornian is generally a serious character possessing a wry sense of humor. Independent, steady as a rock, Capricorn reflects earthy qualities that range from clever to vacuous. Mostly cautious, confident, strong willed, reasonable and hard working, Capricorns are a rock upon which to build. They are often aloof, shrewd, practical, responsible and persevering. They are capable of great endurance; a whatever it takes, for as long as it takes persistence. Reliable in any profession they undertake, but lacking in originality, they usually excel in following up on what someone else has started.

Within prescribed areas, Capricorn is a resourceful, practical manager. These folks set high standards for themselves and others. They are self critical, and work well in a disciplined environment, demanding equal measure from their subordinates. A careful, ambitious planner, Capricorn moves forward with quiet, deliberate persistence. They can be frugal, possessing the ability to achieve results with minimum effort and expense. Highly organized, they excel in managing several projects simultaneously.

Capricorn will often vie for a position of authority (*but he obviously didn't win JanKen for the Arashi Leadership before debuting hahaha!) Once attaining control, they are demanding and exacting in leadership (*Oookay, so maybe its a good thing he didn't win, huh?) Although firm, they are usually fair to people they deal with. They value tradition (*I think in a Mago Mago episode with Sho and Ohno, Sho mentioned that Aiba carried miniature shrines every year. I'm just saying. Tradition haha) the tried and true, more than innovation. "We always do it this way," was no doubt first said by a Capricorn. Their naturally pessimistic nature explains their wry sense of humor, which some think is no humor at all (*Isn't Aiba supposed to be the funny one? @_X). They can spread gloom and tension in a minute and are quite capable of depressing everyone else around them. Never really up, but often down, they need a positive environment to enliven their spirits (*We must send something to him to make him happy! Sushi anyone? XD)

Capricorns tend to be profound thinkers. To them life is a serious business, and the need to be in control of it is paramount.. They are seekers after knowledge and wisdom. Rational, logical and clearheaded, they have excellent concentration, and delight in all forms of debate.

In personal relationships they tend to be uncomfortable. Rather self-centered, they are wary and suspicious of others. They often have few close friends (*In short: Nino. hahahaa!) but will maintain these bonds their entire life. They are loyal to intimates (*Good news for Aiba-lovers out there, yeah? :D) but indifferent and sometimes callous to those outside their circle. Never impetuous, they consider business and personal relationships carefully before becoming involved. These are family people, and family usually comes first (*I am not surprised by this since I think when it comes to telling stories about family, among the guys, Aiba seems to me like the one that has the most fun and wonderful experiences with his family. That's what I think) except where business is their primary concern.

The occupations Capricorns usually choose are as; doctors, lawyers, accountants, and most any endeavor that deals with math or money. They excel as bureaucrats, especially where projects demanding long-term planning are concerned. Capricorns make excellent politicians due to their skill in debate, and good teachers or principals (*He usually is the one that emcees their MagoMago shows and Shukudaikun during the eating part anyway, so I guess this counts as that? hahaha!) They do best in an environment wherein they can exercise their desire for authority and organization. They are good with their hands (*O_O) and may choose to be engineers, farmers or builders. The wit and flippancy so characteristic of some Capricorns allows them to consider entertainment as a career. Many are also strongly attracted to musical pursuits. (*Well, DUH~ hahaha!)

AND just something additional for myself. I am a scorpio so I checked out my compatibility with the signs of arashi. hahahahha. I am so going to fail my class tomorrow.

ABOUT ME: SCORPIO

Scorpions are known for their intense and powerful natures. They are willful, proud and calm with an electrifying undercurrent of seething intensity. Purposeful and animated with force, they project a magnetic personality (*I hope I do!)

Their demeanor is dignified and reserved, affable and courteous, and many have a gaze that is both direct and penetrating. Their secretive natures make them natural detectives (*this is true. I'm very suspicious and paranoid of people). Many Scorpios possess a suspicious outlook, and need to know the reasons behind everything. Scorpio does nothing in half measures. An all or nothing attitude permeates their entire life. When fixed on something or someone, the scorpion perseveres (*Japan, here I COME). Scorpio never settles. Life is meant to be lived to the fullest or not at all.

Scorpio will rarely be found in the center of activity, but will always know just what is going on of concern to him. Their tenacity and willpower are enviable, their depth of character and passionate conviction admirable, but it is their deep sensitivity that makes them the best and most loyal friend (*YOSH. that, I am). This same quality makes them the most treacherous of enemies (*yes, this is VERY true too).

Their sensitivity, and pride allow them to be easily hurt, quick to feel insult or injury, even when none is intended, and easily roused to heights of anger (*no comment<--@_X wth, i commented hahaha!) An angry Scorpio is a sight to see. Unlike Leo, who can have a temper tantrum and five minutes later be quite himself again, Scorpio seethes, and doesn't give it up.

when they harness their abundant energy constructively, their self-confidence tempered with shrewdness, and their ambition coupled with generosity toward others, they excel at whatever they undertake. Scorpios are demanding of others, but never ask someone to do what they would not do themselves. (* its true. I don't ask people to do things i can't do myself. This is because I'm lazy. haha). They can be fanatically focused and work till they drop, and ask the same of those around them. No middle ground for a Scorpio, all or nothing.

Scorpio imagination and intuition are excellent. They possess refined critical perception and strong analytical ability. In addition, they seem to demonstrate a natural healing power. These abundant gifts allow Scorpions to penetrate the most profound subjects. They are serious folk, but quite charming to people they like, and when social events call for it. Their tragic flaw is their immense pride (*this is why i'm like Nino and Jun ahaha *referring to previous post*). Once wronged, once Scorpio's pride has been diminished, the game of courtesy is over.

Their inner intensity can result in the ice-cold restraint and detachment of the surgeon, the concentration of the research scientist and the heroism of the soldier. Any profession in which analysis, investigation, research or dealing with the solving of mysteries are present appeals to Scorpio. Police and detective work, espionage (*My name is Chan. Mishie-chan hahaha!) the law, physics or psychology are attractive professions to the Scorpio. As writers and orators they excel. The Scorpio character is the one you see up on the podium delivering "fire and brimstone" speeches (*whee 4.0 in Speecom!! XD) They succeed because they communicate the power of their convictions.

Scorpio + Aquarius (Me+Sho)
Instinctive, intuitive, sensitive and intense Scorpio does not have much in common with intellectual, rational and friendly Aquarius. What they do have in common will not help the relationship work. They are both stubborn and unyielding and sometimes incapable of seeing the other person's point of view.

Where Scorpio is independent but possessive, Aquarius is independent and aloof. Where Scorpio becomes attached emotionally, Aquarius prefers friendly detachment. Both are generally intelligent people and there can be a lot of magnetism here, but Scorpio can never possess Aquarius.

(I guess that means Me+Sho=XXXXXXX)

Scorpio + Gemini (Me+Nino)
The emotional intensity of Scorpio is a thing to behold. Picture this with the flippant, devil-may-care airiness of Gemini. Can you picture it? I can't. Scorpio bonds rarely, but completely. They allow themselves to become deeply attached to those they commit to. Gemini can't handle a commitment. Gemini is the butterfly of the universe, flitting from person to person, thing to thing. Getting to know you, getting to know all about you, and then on to the next.

To Scorpio, Gemini seems superficial and childish; while Gemini sees Scorpio as too serious, intense and demanding. This combination works in a business relationship, where emotions are kept in check. But, as a personal relationship, much too volatile.

(I guess that means Me+Nino=XXX, but maybe we'll collaborate someday hahah)

Scorpio + Virgo (Me+Jun)
This is not a lighthearted combination, for these are serious people. Virgo is pragmatic, reserved, sometimes shy, often highly intelligent and always analytically detailed. Scorpio is willful, intense, reserved and driven by deep emotions, they feel the truth or falseness of people and events. Where Virgo is cautious, Scorpio is forceful. Both persevere until they get what they are after, Virgo through rational analysis, Scorpio through intuition and good detective work, anchored with an intelligence that comes from the gut senses. Virgo values substance. Scorpio is substance

This is too heavy a combination of dramatic traits, you will have to seek out ways to lighten it up. Too much analysis can end a relationship. Can be good for friendship or business, but as a love relationship, it needs some lighter tones.

(this is why I can't really imagine myself with Jun in the beginning anyway. More like an older brother type. I guess this means Me+Jun=XX)

Scorpio + Sagittarius (Me+Ohno)

Where Sagittarius is spontaneous, Scorpio is calculating. Where Sagittarius is light, lively, impulsive and imaginative with an idealistic approach to life, Scorpio is deeply serious, a planner with a secretive and intuitive approach to life. Sag' is outgoing, friendly, loves festive occasions and will easily carry a conversation into the wee hours. Scorpios are more aloof, they quietly wait for others to come to them.

So many differences work well with these two. Sag' is the right prescription for Scorpio. The archer has the enthusiasm that Scorpio can ride along on. Sag' can bring Scorpio out of himself (herself). In return, Scorpio can add endurance to the fickle Sagittarian. These are two intelligent and capable people with spiritual natures who can gain a lot from each other. Understanding is necessary and Scorpio needs to learn how to leave the leash at home.

(I guess that means Me+Ohno=OOOOOO.)

Scorpio + Capricorn (Me+Aiba)

Both of you are reserved, conventional and reticent. Both of you have great business sense and are excellent administrators. Where Capricorn is cool and pragmatic, Scorpio is emotional and intuitive. Capricorn's calculating manner and lack of feeling can turn Scorpio off. Scorpio is an emotional being who seethes beneath the surface, while Capricorn is rarely deeply touched by anything or anyone.

Although this is an excellent business combination, on a personal level there is much to be desired. Both are too self-contained to court the inner aspects of the other. What each of you needs is someone with the ability to draw you out. This is not a lighthearted or fun relationship.

Hmm. Well, you know what, I connect with Aiba the least anyway.

That is as clear as it ever going to get my friends.!!!! It is clearer. Its a good thing too since I was kind of concerned that I was compatible with both Ohno and Aiba which is strange because I feel very little or least connected to Aiba, as I already mentioned. Nothing against him, but the vibe I got from him is just stable. If ever we met or anything--which will not happen anytime soon duh, I think we'd just be friends, and perhaps not even close. hahaha.
